“The more people who learn of a crime, the more eyes we have helping us in our communities. Any avenue we can pursue that will help us in that end is something we wholeheartedly support. We're certainly an advocate of the program.”
“Our women's team had a good win. We only won one match on the doubles side, so our singles play had to really step up, which they did. We took wins in the Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5 spots to claim the win, all straight set wins. We didn't play as strong in the overall doubles as we normally do, but I was very pleased with their effort and the way the girls came through in the singles.”
“Our men played well, we just couldn't get things going our way. They battled hard, but came up short. Andy had a good win, but we were flat in our doubles and hopefully when we get the chance to play them again we will perform much better.”
“It?s a lot of fun for everyone who plays and everyone who comes to watch. People really get into it. Last year?s Town Hall team dressed in St. Patrick?s Day garb, while the year before they brought us out of the winter blues with a Hawaiian dress theme, complete with leis. You forget the fact that it?s a fund-raiser.”
“We're building character. We had two of our men go to a third set tie-breaker and I was proud of the way they played. We are a young team making young mistakes, but we're building on each match and hoping to learn from our mistakes.”
“Every match from here on out will be tough and we will need to be ready to play. It will be interesting to see how we respond in these next few weeks.”
“They set their goal before the match and took care of business. I'm really proud of how these girls have battled through their matches and the support they give each other. The thing about these girls is they have a lot of fight in them.”
